QSO is an internationally acclaimed orchestra based in Brisbane, Queensland. Founded in 1947, it has grown into one of Australia's premiere arts organisations, with a rich history spanning over 78 years, QSO is renowned for its exceptional performances and commitment to artistic excellence. The orchestra plays a vital role in the cultural landscape of Queensland, delighting audiences with its diverse repertoire, unique concert experiences and world-class musicianship.
The Maestro Series was first introduced in 2018 and brings celebrated conductors from all over the world to lead performances, allowing audiences to view a rich variety of musical styles.
